During the hospital visit to the Waste Management Department at Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College and Hospital, Sangli, students observed the segregation, collection, treatment, and disposal of biomedical waste as per prescribed guidelines. They also learned about waste treatment equipment such as autoclaves, shredders, and incinerators, and understood the importance of safe biomedical waste management in preventing infections and protecting the environment.
